Latest Pre-Raphaelite Sighting: Nim’s Island

Another siting for the Unexpected Pre-Raphaelite Sightings list.  Alexandrion Drallipo has noticed a William Morris wallpaper pattern in the movie Nim’s Island.  This is the Arbutus pattern, seen here in screen caps:

  1. I love these posts. There is no image that I can find, but in Dying Young, there is a Pre-Raphaelite moment and several other moments that are related. The character studies German romanticism, Art, and Klimt. Julia Roberts’ character looks like a Pre-Raphaelite model in many of the scenes. The whole movie has that feel. There is even a maze in the film, which is related to these themes. Again love these posts. Your blog is so inspiring.
